Opened September, 2014
Nest Hotel is very much in keeping with its neighbor, the world’s leading future city, Seoul. For starters, there is the hotel’s location—the island of Yeongjongdo. Thanks to a slew of new development—from luxury resorts, cultural centers, golf courses, casinos, adventure parks, and malls, to Seoul’s International airport—Yeongjongdo is fast becoming Northeast Asia’s cultural hub.
Then there’s the Nest Hotel’s building itself: Not only is the 370-room structure a cubist-meets-modernist masterpiece, but it is cleverly designed to afford guests maximum views of pine trees, reed fields, and the calming Yellow Sea. Built as the ultimate retreat, the hotel is overflowing with services, including those you’d expected, such as a library café, mini-theater, spa, outdoor heated infinity pool, and world-class dining, to the unexpected, such as glamping (glamorous camping) facilities for nature lovers, biking courses through the reed fields, and adventure-minded watersports.

Nearby Things To Do
Hanagae Beach — 6 km
Muuido Island (무의도) in Incheon is one of the most popular beach getaways from Seoul and it has become a bit more popular since there was a road that was built from the mainland to the island. Since it doesn’t require a ferry trip anymore, it is just a bit busier than before but still oh so fun. There are two beaches on the island but the one you definitely can’t miss is Hanagae Beach (하나개해수욕장). There is lots of sand, lots of fun, and plenty of sun. If you’re hot this summer in Seoul, head to the beach. There are actually beaches near Seoul if you’re ready to get out and find them!
Eurwangni Beach- 6,5 km
Eurwangni is one of the best beaches in Seoul, — located just near the Incheon airport. It’s not so bad for the city beach. Please note, that the sea water goes far away during the low tide. In addition, there are always a lot of people, as well as a lot of litter on the beach. Shore and seabed: sand.
Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall
It is a war memorial hall that was built to commemorate Incheon Landing Operation successfully conducted by General MacArthur who was the supreme commander of UN Forces during the Korean War. In the memorial hall, various facilities including rest area and performance hall are provided and the photos that compared military equipments and lives between South and North Korea as well as the military equipments that were used during the war are exhibited in the outdoor exhibition hall. Also, this place is used as an educational center for children by showing media-aid related to Incheon Landing Operation.
Incheon Bridge
The new cable-stayed bridge connecting the city of Incheon, near Seoul, and the west coastal highway to Incheon International Airport is one of the longest fixed-link sea crossings in the world. Stretching 12.3km across the Yellow Sea, the crossing includes South Korea’s longest spanning cable-stayed bridge, with an 800m span. It is constructed in water up to 20m deep and is designed to withstand buffeting from typhoon-strength winds and substantial ship impact. The approach bridges are constructed from 50m spans, each erected as full span precast units weighing 1,300 tonnes. It is ranked seventh in the world for its bridge length.
The bridge connects between Yeongjongdo Island, developing an international distribution complex as well as international airport, and Songdo Island, growing an international business city, within 20 minutes. Also, it grants easy to access to Gyeongin Expressway No. 2 and 3, and Seohaean Expressway by shortening more than 40 minutes to arrive at Incheon International Airport.
