Desa which means “village” in Bahasa Indonesia is the throughline in which the place operates. This is a creative village where art, music, design, good food and wellness co-exist. Location
The distance from Desa Potato Head to Denpasar International Airport (DPS) is 13 km, the road by car is from 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the traffic situation.

Beach Club
The original Potato Head venue and Good Times headquarters is our Beach Club, which opened in 2010 behind a facade made of repurposed window shutters. With its infinity pool, countless daybeds, multiple dining venues and menus, exciting cocktails, and a lineup of international DJs, it’s a classic stop in Seminyak with an always lively vibe.
Light Sound Vibration
Developed over 4 years and experienced by more than 10,000 guests at Pyramid of Chi. Light, Sound, Vibration journey is an experience for awakening human potential. Light Sound Vibration technology augments the sound healing experience by delivering sound as physical vibration inside the body through custom-made water beds with built-in vibrational speakers and synchronized light frequency to stimulate brainwave states and closed-eye visionary speakers.
Incense Making Workshop
Ingrained in Balinese culture and used throughout homes and temples, incense plays an important role across Asia. During the sessions, you’ll learn more about the history and uses of incense while crafting your own using natural and locally sourced ingredients – including flowers repurposed from our Desa offerings. Each guest will take home incense sticks and cones made during the workshop.
Travel Astrology Consultation
Travel astrology, also known as astrocartography, is a method used in astrology to analyse how the positions of celestial bodies at the time of a person's birth can influence our life experiences and personal development. The readings produce a personalised travel chart, which plots the positions of the planets and other astronomical objects onto a world map, with lines of interest highlighting geographic areas of abundance, growth, or transformation. During your consultation, the farmacist will create and assess your chart followed by personalised herbal therapy. Includes herbal tea served by the farmacist and personal astrocartography booklet.
Sound Healing
About the Program Held in the energetically warm and inviting Sanctuary Sunset Space, the Sound Healing session is like coming home. Relax and allow the practitioner to weave a tapestry of sounds and take you on a journey to melt away your worries leaving you completely relaxed.
Yoga
This all-level yoga session helps increase flexibility, endurance, and strength, leaving you both energised and calm as you free your mind, body, and spirit. All visitors to the Desa are welcome to enjoy our classes. For guests of Potato Head Suites and Studios, all classes are complimentary. Anyone else wishing to join can do so by contributing a donation.
Follow The Waste Tour
If you’ve visited the Desa recently, you’ll see that our bamboo entranceway, otherwise known as The Womb, is now hosting the Waste Centre. The Waste Centre is our in-house recycling facility; a space where you can watch our waste transform into beautiful objects. If you’d like to learn even more about our waste management, register for our waste tour. You’ll be taken behind the curtain at Potato Head, walking through the back-of-house and seeing first hand how we collect, sort and process our waste. Includes a complimentary upcycling workshop.

Dome features casual yet refined dishes made from locally sourced flavours. Chef Diego Recarte’s creative approach offers a modern take on food inspired by his time in Michelin-starred South American and European kitchens. The dynamic shared plates highlight ingredients from organic farmers and local producers, while the wine menu focuses on consciously produced natural wines. During the day, Dome opens as a cafe library with a curated selection of books on food, design, art, and wellness to inspire creativity.
Beach Club
The Beach Club is where it all began. Still the beating heart of our Desa, it’s a place to swim all day and dance into the night. Indulge in locally sourced international dishes, house-infused cocktails and a curated selection of beers, spirits and wines as DJs select the evolving soundtrack — with daybeds, an infinity pool, and oceanside sunset views.
Sunset Park
A rooftop bar on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Bali’s ultimate sundown experience. Sunset Park is made for get-togethers, blending tasty cocktails with irresistible bites as music floats across the panorama. The Seminyak sky provides an unmissable backdrop to an end-of-day drink or pre-dinner aperitivo — whether chatting with friends and loved ones or admiring the ocean view.Our food menu combines distinct Indonesian flavours with tropical favourites from around the world, with tapas-style snacks in bite-size portions to keep you going until dinner. From cassava fries to grilled prawns served on a shiso leaf, all ingredients are sustainably sourced. Our drinks reimagine classics with an Indonesian twist — think watermelon spritzers or martinis spiked with dragon fruit gin — using locally-sourced spirits and infusing them in-house. Kaum Restaurant
Indonesian restaurant showcasing recipes from over 600 of the archipelago’s islands. Translating to ‘tribe’ in Indonesian, Kaum is an authentic reflection of Indonesian ingredients, flavours and indigenous cooking methods.The restaurant venue offers a contemporary and spacious setting, encouraging a lively yet relaxed ambience. Dishes are best enjoyed shared on communal tables, on the terrace overlooking the sunset. Expect good music, with curated soundscapes which will transport you to the far reaches of Indonesia. Suited for both smaller and larger groups.
Ijen Restaurant
Showcasing the archipelago’s freshest produce, carefully selected by our growing, farming and fishing community. A nothing-left over culinary experience that elevates the natural tastes of raw ingredients through flavours of contrast. Our dishes have been created with minimal waste and maximum care in mind.
Tanaman Restaurant
Working closely with local regenerative farmers, we offer vegetarian food and drinks made from Bali's highest-quality produce. Our imaginative dishes are there to be enjoyed whether or not you follow a plant-based diet. Our plant-focused menu is centred around whole, minimally processed, unrefined, and organic plant foods in their natural state. Tanaman is all about balancing nutrition with deliciousness, focusing on natural foods while working with organic farmers wherever possible. Akademi
We want to share with you the secrets of Arak, our Balinese liquor, a spirit made from the coconut flower. Our Head Mixologist will explain the story of each ingredient and show how Arak can be utilised to create new different flavours. Come join us to mix your own cocktail and taste different kinds of Arak.
Pizza Garden
Our thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas are made from freshly rolled dough and creative combinations of local cheeses, quality meats and the ripest Indonesian produce.
Beachfront Restaurant
Beachfront offers open-air dining in a relaxed oceanside setting, with international comfort food served alongside specially selected cocktails and drinks.
