Allow our wine tutors to awaken your senses to the unique qualities of our wines with a Tutored Wine Experience at our Wine Lounge. Operating on a first come, first served basis, should the Lounge be full upon your arrival you will be placed on a waiting list until a table becomes available.
Savour a glass of Delaire Graff wine all-year round at the art-filled Wine Lounge – on the spacious terrace in the summer, encircled by dramatic mountain views, or inside accompanied by a crackling log fire come winter. To enhance your experience in the Wine Lounge, enjoy a selection of platters featuring locally produced cheeses and charcuterie, alongside non-alcoholic options and seasonal snacks.

Spectacularly in bloom every day of the year, the Estate acts as an incredible backdrop for art and sculpture, where Laurence Graff’s personal collection is carefully curated to showcase South Africa’s finest contemporary artists.
A garden that dares to be different, designed to please the senses and complement the abundant flora and fauna. To encourage biodiversity, over 350 indigenous plants and other imported, non-invasive species nestle among art, sculpture, rippling water features and reflective pools that work in harmony to create the ultimate tranquil garden setting.
In the gardens and throughout the estate, you will find works by renowned sculptors, landscape designers, and artists. Guests can enjoy masterpieces from Keith Kirsten, Anton Smit, Lionel Smit, Dylan Lewis, and other talented creators. Shaded by ancient oak trees, the broad, wooden terrace at Delaire Graff Restaurant embraces sweeping views of vineyards and olive groves from Simonsberg Peak across the Banghoek Valley.

Hōseki
Embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure at Hōseki, where the evocative Japanese menu is backdropped by the iconic Table Mountain.
In Japanese, Hōseki means “jewel,” a name honouring the owner of Delaire Graff Estate and legendary diamantaire Laurence Graff OBE. An extensive a la carte menu with additional Omakase dining options – which translates to “I leave it up to you”- provides diners with a myriad of contemporary Japanese dishes from which to choose. Crafted to be savoured and shared, each culinary creation is imbued with the inventive spirit, ingenuity, and artistry for which Head Chef Virgil Kahn is renowned. Head Chef Virgil Kahn is behind the evocative, fine-dining food theatre that is Hōseki. He comes to Delaire Graff Estate from an esteemed background, having cooked at Gordon Ramsay’s Maze and Nobu at The One&Only Cape Town.
Backdropped against the vibrant blue and copper-toned interior of Hōseki, the striking Swallows in Flight art installation, created by André Stead, working in collaboration with Lionel Smith, brings significant meaning to the space. In Japanese culture, birds have adorned prints, ceramics, cloisonné and ancient temples for centuries, with the swallow representing good luck.
Much of the fresh produce incorporated into every dish is hand-selected from the Estate’s on-site vegetable garden and greenhouse, while the balance is provided by suppliers who share the same philosophy of organic farming. The menu also features sustainably sourced bluefin tuna, known for its rich flavour and fatty texture, and locally farmed Wagyu beef, which is celebrated for its intense marbling and tenderness. Hoseki’s chefs are proud to work only with local, certified sustainable farms and fisheries, ensuring the environment, animals, and our communities are respected and preserved for generations to come.
Lorenzo’s Cucina Italiana
Located next to Delaire Graff Restaurant, Lorenzo’s seats up to 40 guests under a dramatic Iroko timber pergola, created to give both scale and a sense of intimacy to the new space, surrounded and interwoven with beautifully bold flora and fauna.
Locally made, brown clay Klompie bricks, which are traditionally used in South African architecture, are paired with antique stone to form the backdrop for a striking pizza oven. Clad with 250 individually hand-patinaed bronze panels, it adds a theatrical centrepiece to the space. Crafted to resemble a magnificent jewel, it pays homage to the expertise of the restaurant’s namesake, renowned diamantaire Laurence Graff.
The menu features classic Italian dishes, with antipasto offerings including Wood-Fired Artichokes, Burrata Caprese and Veal Carpaccio. Wood-fired pizzas include toppings such as Beef Bresaola with Caponata, Buffalo Mozzarella and Parmesan; Fresh Truffle with Buffalo Mozzarella, Stracciatella and Parmesan; and Prawns with Chilli, Red Pepper, Garlic, Buffalo Mozzarella and Rocket.
Diners can also choose from an exquisite array of handmade pasta, including Basil and Ricotta Tortellini, Linguine Vongole and Fresh Truffle Spaghettini with parmesan, nerona cream, pickled and grilled zucchini.
