Amalfi is a small town of the Italian province Salerno. After the fall of the Roman Empire this town became the first port holding trade between the East and the West of such exotic merchandise as carpets, coffee and paper. Old paper fabrics which still produce famous Amalfian paper continue their existence in the Mill Valley which deepens from the sea into the inner territory. Surrounded by the azure waters of the Salerno Bay, this colorful town, in spite of its ancient history, counts only 6000 citizens.

Cut coast strip, pristine sea and eternal sun makes it one of the most elite resorts. The main Amalfi’s landmark is Duomo, the 9-century cathedral rising above the central square of the town. Old houses built in terraces are connected by sharp narrow streets, cut in the rocks as bridges and staircases. Such exotic location turns the town promenades into real adventures. Amalfi is undoubtedly the place for those who prefer serene and romantic vacation.
