Montana is a northwest state of the USA with the population of 990 thousand people. The native citizens of these places were Indians who won many battles with French and English settlers, but lost their main war. Seven American Indian reservations and Museum of Plains Indians located in the city of Browning have become tourist attractions. In the middle of 19 century this region was explored by two travelers, Lewis and Clark. At the end of 1850-s, a series of major mining discoveries found gold and copper lead, and since that time Montana is called “the Treasure State”. Many gold hunters rushed to this region, creating large settlements which now remain as ghost-towns. Montana’s nature seems to have created everything for its contemplation. Main tourist destinations are Yellowstone National Park, Fort Union Trading Post as the monument to Wild West reclamation and Grand-Kohr Ranch.
