Ranch at Rock Creek
Montana, USA
Ranch at Rock Creek is a luxury guest ranch that brings together upscale amenities and wide open spaces like never before. Set among 10 square miles of rugged Montana ranchland, guests experience limitless outdoor recreational opportunities, outstanding accommodations and cuisine, and a full-service spa. The Granite Lodge sits on a small ridge just west of Rock Creek and is the primary home base during a visit to The Ranch. The great room and the dining room are located here, as well as the Silver Dollar Saloon with the four-lane bowling alley, pool table and 500-cm HD television screen. There are nine rooms in The Granite Lodge, each finding design inspiration in iconic Western themes, such as the great old railroad hotels during the turn of the century, and the classic guns that helped win the West. Across the bridge from The Granite Lodge are the horse stables, the Rod & Gun Club, and three more options that redefine guests’ ideas of cowboy guest ranch accommodations. The one-bedroom Bluebird Cabin offers privacy just steps from Rock Creek, and a bright open floor plan. Recreated in the hayloft of The Ranch’s 19th-century barn, The Loft combines the charm of exposed-rafter ceilings and boasts an elegant slipper tub in the bath. Located on the ground level of the renovated barn is Wrangler, with a covered porch and the sounds of the creek murmuring in the distance.
Location
The Ranch at Rock Creek is located in the heart of Western Montana, just a short drive from international airports in Missoula and Butte, near the historic mining town of Philipsburg.

Dining
The cuisine at The Ranch reflects its pure surroundings - prime organic beef, elk, bison, free-range chicken, organic eggs, fresh fish, seasonal local fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs, all enhanced by an inspired wine list. Chef Josh Drage is a superb chef whose skills and attention to detail are reflected in menu items not to be found at any other Montana vacation ranch, such as Montana elk ribeye with Flathead cherry demi-glace, watermelon and fennel salad, and white chocolate macadamia nut brownies. Meals are served in the Granite Lodge, with some flexibility to accommodate guests’ individual schedules and preferences. This way, if they’d rather be out fishing the evening rise than rushing back for dinner, they won’t miss out on The Ranch’s remarkable culinary experience. To compliment Chef Josh’s innovative creations, there is a wide range of wines on offer, many of which are sourced from lesser-known vintners and limited releases.
