Location

Velana International Airport, Male. The island of Velaa is reachable by a scenic seaplane ride of 45 mins either by Velaa’s customised plane on a private charter ( 9 seater ) or on a commercial seaplane ( 15 seaters). All guests are greeted upon arrival by a Velaa airport butler and directly escorted to the private lounge with refreshment facilities and a place to rest before the seaplane transfer. Mafaaru International Airport, Noonu Atoll. Private jets can comfortably land at Maafaru International Airport with only 7 minutes seaplane distance or a relaxed 35 minutes luxury yacht ride from Velaa.

Accomodation

Ocean Pool House

In a domain unto its own, this over water pool house is elegantly designed with tasteful elements such as louvered privacy shutters and cathedraled ceilings. The two bedrooms benefit from uninterrupted ocean views and the bathrooms feature walk-in cupboards and circular baths. The dining area opens onto a spacious deck with two gazebos, one with a sunken hot tub and the other with luxurious daybeds and plush cushions. The sun deck invites you to relax and cool off in the private pool, or step directly into the ocean for a secluded swim.

The Romantic Residence

Offering uninterrupted oceanic views and utmost privacy, this romantic retreat has its own personal gym, fully-equipped kitchen, personal butler and optional private chef. Meals are served over the water in a secluded dining gazebo, and sunsets are enjoyed from luxurious daybeds on a sprawling terrace. Other features include an outdoor jacuzzi, infinity pool, secluded sundeck and sunken bath.

Velaa private residence

Perched on a private beach, this family-size residence offers elegant, contemporary design and 1,350 square meters of usable interior and exterior space—including two terraces, an infinity pool and a dramatic courtyard. Carefully curated interiors have been arranged with privacy in mind — each of the four bedrooms face the ocean. Two have generous balconies and two open onto the pool with indoor and outdoor bathrooms connected by a garden atrium. The large private beach is flanked by twin gazebos ideal for dining, relaxing and entertaining. Behind the living area, a gym and spa room offer a quiet space to retire.

Our secret world

The untouched Noonu atoll is home to numerous exotic dive sites featuring shark cleaning stations, dramatic swim-throughs and elusive Eagle Rays. A dedicated marine biology team oversees the development of the largest coral restoration programme in the Maldives, and guests can arrange an immersive tour of the coral garden as well as discover the fascinating hidden-gems located within the house reef. The well-equipped dive shop offers PADI certification from beginner through to dive master levels and a range of Scubapro equipment.
