The Hanging Gardens of Bali was conceived in 2003 and completed in 2005. The concept was to create something magical and authentic in the heart of the Balinese jungle: an immersive experience in a natural tropical environment

With 700 local craftsmen using traditional materials and adapting indigenous ideas, the resort took shape in the heart of Ubud. The Hanging Gardens Of Bali Hotel is only a 25-minute drive from central Ubud and a 90-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. The resort provides car rental services and free shuttle services to Ubud Centre.

Designed by a specialist architect, the striking formation is suspended over the dense rainforest, giving swimmers the unique sensation of floating above the treetops.

The hotel also offers balenese cooking lesson and lunch. The Garden is the restaurant, with its astonishing position overlooking the Dalem Segara temple and the World’s Best Swimming Pool. Our chefs offer a menu of International specialties, creatively combining traditional dishes with contemporary culinary techniques. Fresh, organic vegetables, fruits and spices are sourced from Bedugul farms as well as from our own land. Our sumptuous meat originates from South East Asia and Australia and our fish and seafood arrives directly from Jimbaran Bay.

Partial open-aired The Garden Bar and Lounge is located below the restaurant, overlooking the World’s most celebrated Swimming Pool and the Ayung River’s valley. One of the best bars in Ubud, offering a comprehensive and eclectic mix of innovative and classical cocktails and premium table wines. Utilizing the seasonal land-grown fruits, our skilled barman adapts the menu, keeping it fresh and current.

Overlooking the Ayung River and adjacent to the spa, Dining by the Spa Collection is the ideal place to enjoy freshly made salads, wraps and natural cold pressed juices, with many of the fruits and vegetables sourced in and around the estate.
