Here is the restoration of a cherished icon, a place where stories — both old and new — are told.
Location
Poland’s capital city, Warsaw is unique. With its diverse architecture, from restored Gothic to contemporary glass and steel, the vibrant and multi-faceted city reflects its rich, tumultuous past and strong spirit. Accomodation
Deluxe Room
The original Europejski building boasted rooms of wonderful proportions. Today, Deluxe Rooms take advantage of that space with features including a library, spacious bathroom and generous storage space. Raffles has long been known as a haven for writers; within each room, the design of the library is inspired both by this and by the hotel’s own history as a creative and artistic hub in its 1920s heyday.
Specially selected contemporary Polish art gives each room a distinct character, while handcrafted furniture, clever design details and luxurious fabrics create a sophisticated residential ambience. Superbly comfortable beds make every guest feel cared for and relaxed. In the spacious, sophisticated bathrooms, the specially commissioned décor creates an outstanding feature. On the walls, a marble collage of the Warsaw skyline shows the celebrated Palace of Culture while on the shelves, products created especially for Raffles Europejski by renowned French parfumeur Blaise Mautin provide an additional luxurious touch. Connecting and accessible rooms are available.
Signature Suite
The sophisticated style captures the essence of luxury, with décor that draws inspiration from Polish artists. Each suite celebrates an aspect of Polish history and culture, as reflected in many of their names: Piłsudski, Prus, Chełmoński, and Tetmajer. Both in the master bedroom and separate living room state-of-the-art equipment and contemporary design blend seamlessly to ensure an unforgettable experience.
The walk-in library and large desk offer guests the freedom to read, work or simply relax, inspired perhaps by the iconic Polish artists who made the Europejski their home during its 1920s heyday. In the spacious, sophisticated bathrooms, the specially commissioned décor creates an outstanding feature. On the walls, a marble collage of the Warsaw skyline shows the celebrated Palace of Culture while on the shelves, products created especially for Raffles Europejski Warsaw by renowned French parfumeur Blaise Mautin make every guest feel truly cosseted.

Infrastructure
Sitting proudly on Warsaw’s Royal Route, Raffles Europejski Warsaw reflects the true spirit of Poland. The neo-renaissance palace was built by Enrico Marconi in 1857 and quickly became the city’s creative heart, filled with writers, poets and artists, resonating with the glamour of the period. The lovingly restored and reinvented hotel has stunning contemporary interiors, courtesy of the acclaimed Boris Kudlicka of WWAA. As befits its creative heritage, it also acts as a showcase for the best of modern Polish art.
The 106 elegant guest rooms and suites will be the largest in the city yet, with the Raffles Suite a magnificent 293 sq. meters. Bespoke furniture, carefully curated art from the Hotel Europejski collection and sophisticated bathrooms etched with the Warsaw skyline make each room an oasis of luxury. The restaurants and bars of Raffles Europejski Warsaw are the perfect place to experience the vibrant flavours of the region.
Spanish designers Lazaro Rosa Violan are spearheading the design of the Europejski Grill which will flow out onto the terrace of the magnificent Piłsudski Square, with the eternal flame of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at its far side. Pavilion offers an additional venue for events. For social gatherings, from weddings to intimate events, the ballroom creates a stunning backdrop, putting Raffles Europejski Warsaw, once more at the centre of Poland’s social scene.

Dining
The Chef
Executive Chef Beñat Alonso is at the helm, bringing with him a wealth of experience, both from his home, Basque country, where Arzak and Bersategui were major influencers. At Raffles Europejski Warsaw, inspired by the country’s culinary heritage, Alonso has reimagined Polish cuisine with an indulgent modern twist and elevated the importance of simple local foods in synergy with local producers.
Europejski Grill
Designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the signature restaurant of the hotel with its own terrace offers a spectacular view of the Pilsudski Square, the scene of so many memorable moments in Warsaw’s rich history. Poland’s heritage is referenced inside the restaurant, which is decorated in the bold blues and whites that typically appear on Polish pottery, accented by touches of international-inspired design.
The ambience is fresh yet warm, a space in which guests feel part of something special and unique. This blend of the local and international is reflected in the Grill’s menu. At breakfast, the freshest fruit, bakery, and charcuterie are complemented by hot à la carte dishes. For dinner, the acclaimed chefs use the best local ingredients to create contemporary interpretations of Polish and international classics.
Humidor
This 16-seat lounge is a unique meeting place and sanctuary for cigar lovers and connoisseurs of single malts, brandies and Armagnac. Inspired by the greenery and flowers of Warsaw, the ceiling is covered with floral green wallpaper, creating an intimate ambience. A large mirror hangs over a cosy fireplace, which reflects its light on the green-tiled walls. The feeling is that of an exclusive gentleman’s club, where travellers from all over the world are immediately made welcome.
The Humidor has its own decadent menu featuring wonderfully indulgent chocolate creations, specially designed to complement the array of single malts and brandies. The complex flavours enhance and deepen the notes of each drink, bringing out their unique characteristics, be that floral, smooth or subtly smoky.
Lobby Lounge
The elegantly restored lobby of Raffles Europejski Warsaw evokes the splendour of the past, creating a spectacular ‘grand welcome’ for guests and visitors. Design and art are creatively combined, with art deco detail, handcrafted furniture and notable pieces of contemporary Polish art sitting beneath the breathtaking Milky Way ceiling installation. The lobby offers a unique space in which to meet over a drink, take afternoon tea, or enjoy delicious choices from the light menu.
Lourse Warszawa
The original Lourse Warszawa patisserie was famous throughout the city, a place for Warsaw society to meet over exquisite delicacies and tea. Today’s patisserie celebrates that century-old heritage with its classical white ivory and brass décor, recreating the beauty of days gone by. The space invites guests to linger over the best cakes and pastries in Warsaw and indulge themselves with a traditional tea brewing ceremony.
Long Bar
Inspired by the iconic Long Bar in Raffles Singapore, the birthplace of the famous Singapore Sling cocktail, this has become a signature part of the hotel’s story. In Raffles Europejski Warsaw, the 50 seat Long Bar is beautifully crafted from smooth marble, creating a sleek, elegant feel. The ambience is complemented by a stunning glass sculpture, designed by Polish artist Dorota Buczkowska. Behind the bar, a tile mural by Jarosław Fliciński creates a unique statement. The menu brings the best of the world’s cocktails to Warsaw, including the signature Singapore Sling. The Asian influence, paying homage to the original Long Bar, inspires the choice of food, with light, fragrant, authentic dishes and canapés from the orient.
