The Tuscan palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi lies in the heart of a resort town, just a minute walk away from the sand beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and represents an ideal location for shopping, beach holidays and professional cycling. The palazzo was built in the Classical style back in 1930. Oleg Tinkov invited the best architects and designers to renovate the palazzo, highlighting its architectural beauty, while preserving its historical look.

The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi is the first of Oleg Tinkov’s countryside cottages that was built some 100 years ago rather than designed from scratch. We renovated the building seeking to preserve the palazzo’s classical aspects and elaborate layout, and highlight its individual traits.

The palazzo has four floors. On the ground floor, there are two living rooms, a dining room and a cocktail area, a bar, two working spaces, a cinema, and a spa centre with a swimming pool, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a sunbathing terrace. The palazzo’s interior celebrates luxury and solemnity. Golden swirls on the furniture and lights, shades of pearl grey, gold and ivory, and natural fabrics are combined, to give the palazzo an air of ultimate sophistication.

Location

We will pick you up at the airports of Pisa, Florence, Marina di Massa or Lucca. The trip to the palazzo will take from 5 to 60 minutes depending on the airport of your arrival. A private driver will be at your disposal twelve hours a day throughout the entire stay.

Accomodation

The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi can only be booked entirely for holidays with a family or friends. The palazzo provides comfortable accommodation for 20 people. The three upper floors contain ten bedrooms, each featuring a dressing room and a bathroom for the guests comfort.

In addition to the bedrooms, the ground floor Italian-style garden and lounge area would be a nice place to spend an evening with your family or friends over a glass of wine from Oleg Tinkov’s private collection. During the renovation, our interior designers used natural fabrics, including linen, silk, jacquard satin, and batiste. Canvas and leather were used for the purposes of upholstery. Our bed linen, bathing robes and towels are made to order. The highest quality service and attention to details are our priority.

Leisure at the palazzo

The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi seeks to provide the ultimate vacation experience for the guests by creating a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. For Oleg Tinkov, this is not a hotel, but his countryside cottage. Your countryside cottage. The guests come together for breakfast on the ground or first floor, talking and making plans for the day. After breakfast, they go to the spa or return to their rooms to get ready for a walk, the beach or shopping. On the first floor, at the back of the palazzo, there is a dedicated area for sunbathing and swimming. Having had a dip, the guests can go to the steam room or the Turkish bath to ease the muscle tension.

After the steam session and the swimming, we will be delighted to meet you at the bar in the cocktail area and offer our vitamin shakes, fresh juices, tea, coffee, wine and appetisers. The cocktail area and the bar are located next to the swimming pool, so that our guests can soak up the sun with a glass of their favourite drink.

Private beach

The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi is only 30 m away from the sea. It has a private fenced beach for the guests, which is especially valuable in Forte dei Marmi where public beaches are flooded with tourists during the summer. Reserved only for the palazzo guests and their friends, the beach offers 12 sunshade patios for the cosy chillout and relaxed sunbathing and a wide variety of water activities along with the relevant sports equipment and a beach gym.

The beach also boasts a 24 sq meter swimming pool. During the day, when the sun is too hot, the guests are invited to lounge in a refreshing jacuzzi, take a walk in the beachfront garden or have a yoga class in a pool front gym. Here you will also find a bar offering cold drinks and snacks, and a restaurant with a stunning sea view. Needless to say, the beach provides all the necessary amenities, including showers and bathrooms.

La Datcha Yacht

Make a trip along the Tyrrhenian coastline. In addition to the Palazzo and your own private beach, you can book La Datcha Yacht — an elegant brand new Pershing 9X. Accommodation is for 8 sleeping guests or 12 day guests are split between four cabins including a full-beam master cabin complete with walk-in wardrobe, along with two twin cabins and a VIP in the bow. The yacht’s crew will help choose the best route for your sea trip.

Sports and entertainment

Forte dei Marmi is the favourite resort of Italian celebrities, businessmen and aristocrats, offering a multitude of outdoor activities and shopping opportunities. Oleg Tinkov’s personal affection for Forte dei Marmi and its surroundings stems from his love for cycling. In his younger years, Oleg was a professional cyclist. Later on, at a mature age, Mr Tinkov owned the eponymous WorldTour cycling team.

Forte dei Marmi is known as a heaven for cyclists: cars are not allowed in the historical downtown, so most locals and tourists move around on bicycles. The surrounding mountainous area is perfect for professional cycling. Giro d’Italia, the main bicycle race of Italy, often takes place here.

If you want to have a serious cycling session, we will help you pick the right bicycle and plan the route subject to your mileage and height difference preferences. We can also arrange a personal training session with Mikhail Ignatiev, an Olympic cycling champion and a Forte dei Marmi resident.

Booking

The palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi can only be booked entirely, for holidays with a family or friends. The palazzo provides comfortable accommodation for 20 people. The price includes: seven-day stay; service; breakfasts and lunches; exclusive use of private beach with 11 tents and all amenities; soft drinks at the palazzo and at the beach. Should you desire to have dinner at the palazzo or on the beach, just let us know. All dinners and alcoholic beverages are paid extra.

As part of the La Datcha experience, we offer you an opportunity to charter a fully crewed Pershing 9X. The fee includes a complimentary fruit platter and a Magnum bottle of Moët champagne and does not include VAT, additional food&drinks, fuel and port charges. Open from April to October. Weekly rates start from 69 000 € per week.

Dining

Oleg Tinkov and his sommeliers made a special wine list for the palazzo’s guests. Previously, these wines were selected by Mr Tinkov for his personal collection. Now he invites you to taste their exquisite flavours. The Mediterranean cuisine in the palazzo of La Datcha Forte dei Marmi draws on the fresh sea products, fish, fowl, vegetables and fruits. For the La Datcha guests to fully enjoy the look and taste of our dishes, the chef is there to oversee all stages of cooking, from the purchase of ingredients to the serving of ready dishes.
