The renovation project Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel was overseen by the chief architect Richard Martine. In the work on the new design of the hotel were four Parisian interior designers — Tristan Oehr, Shahan Minassian, Cyril Wernjol and Alin Asmar d’Amman. They managed to preserve the essence of the historical monument, adding to it a fraction of the impetuous modernity and Parisian aplomb. Two suites “Les Grands Appartements” overlooking the Place de la Concorde were designed by maestro Karl Lagerfeld, a big fan of the 18th century, who often refers to it in the Chanel collections. A whimsical landscape around the hotel in the best traditions of French landscape parks was created by architect Louis Benes.
The rooms and suites of the hotel paid special attention to fabrics, moldings, sculptures and design details, emphasizing belonging to a certain era. There were 600 different materials in the interiors, including 40 types of marble. All furniture is tailor-made; antique accessories, art objects and books are matched according to the style of each room. In addition to Marie Antoinette’s suite, the Hotel de Crillon has a suite dedicated to Louis XV, with a large number of mirrors — including mirrors on the doors; suite, dedicated to Louis Bernstein, with a dining room for six people and, of course, a suite of the Duke de Crillon with furniture belonging to his family.

Ideally located on the famous Place de la Concorde, at the crossroads of history, art and fashion, the hotel enjoys a privilege location from which to explore the city and its best attractions and monuments: the Jardin des Tuileries, the Champs-Elysees, and the Louvre Museum.

The Chef himself worked with artisans from all over the world to design custom-made chinaware and silverware that complement the guest’s gustatory journey. Thanks to its modern unobtrusive approach, Brasserie d’Aumont features traditional dishes with a new look. The Chef has revisited a dish that dates back to a 1910 menu from the hotel: Tête de veau sauce Orly.Located in the heart of the hotel, this gathering spot features carefully selected ingredients and regional products, some of which are nowhere to be found in Paris, such as a unique breed of oysters from northern Brittany. Similarly, he has formed an agreement to receive a half carcass of beef on a weekly basis, allowing him to offer unique cuts of meat that no other restaurant offers in Paris.
