Chambre Junior

Combining Alpine style with consummate comfort, Aman Le Mélézin’s Chambre Junior offer 22 square metres of living space. The rooms are comprised twin-beds with the addition of a large dressing room and elegant bathroom with large shower and vanity. Ideal for guests seeking space to retreat after a day in the mountains, the rooms can also be connected to a Chambre Melezin, creating the perfect set up for families travelling with children.

Chambre Mélézin

Doors open out onto south- and west-facing balconies that flood the Chambre Melezin rooms with natural light, creating an Alpine-inspired environment which is both elegant and spacious. At 45 square-metres in size, the rooms provide spectacular views of the Bellecôte Piste and the village below, while inside, a king-sized bed, large dressing room and bathroom with twin vanities and bathtub form a private haven to reset after a day on the slopes. The rooms can also be joined to Chambre Junior rooms, creating an interconnecting space, well-suited to families with children.

Suite Le Mélézin

Providing exceptional piste and village views from its south-facing balcony, Suite Le Mélézin is the resort’s largest, and features its own private living room with a fireplace and daybed, alongside a guest shower room. The king-sized bedroom has a large en suite, with a bathtub and separate shower. On entering, the suite’s private hallway has ample storage for ski-gear, and leads into a spacious living area, elegantly decorated with Oak-wood panelling and featuring a fireplace for evenings spent sharing stories of the day-gone-by.

Wellness & Fitness at Aman Le Mélézin

Aman Le Mélézin’s serene spa, swimming pool, fitness and hydrotherapy areas are spread over two entire floors of the four-floor hotel. Offering a wide range of therapeutic and pampering treatments, it is the ideal space in which to prepare, or recover from, an active day in the magnificent outdoors.

Signature Treatment. The rejuvenating Mélézin spa journey begins with dry body brushing to stimulate circulation, followed by a hot oil massage incorporating hot stones to release muscular tension and eliminate lactic acid build-up. Finally, rehydrate and nourish your skin with a moisturizing facial — the perfect antidote to the drying Alpine elements.

Visiting Practitioners

This season, Aman Le Mélézin welcomes two visiting spa practitioners to help guests reset and rejuvenate both the mind and body. The first, Andreas Anell, a Physiotherapist from Sweden, will visit the hotel from 18 December until 8 January. With a career spanning over fifteen-years, Andreas in an ergonomics expert and will offer health coaching, as well as highly technical treatments to help resolve long-term sports injuries and alleviate muscular tension.

Also visiting the resort, Julian Sebastian, a Massage Therapist from Spain, will offer his expertise from 12 February until 12 March. With a diploma in sports injury rehabilitation therapies and qualifications as a Kobido and Guasha practitioner, Justin will offer guests a variety of complex massages and treatments, using his unique and results-driven approach.

Private lesson can be tailor-made to benefit from a closer teaching style that assesses and develops your style and technique with a more personal approach. Private lessons are available in all disciplines including on-piste, off-piste and competition slalom training.

An aerial perspective

There are few better ways to see the majestic Alpine landscape than from above — be it by hot-air balloon at sunrise, or from a helicopter or paraglider. But you don’t have to be airborne to enjoy the views. Discover a whole new way of experiencing the mountain with snowmobiling and snow-friendly fat bikes — perfect for cruising down tranquil forest trails.

First tracks

Aman Le Mélézin has introduced an exclusive First Tracks experience, which takes guests to the highest point within the valley, where panoramas of Mont Blanc and La Grande Casse await. Supervised by an experienced ski instructor, guests can embark on a breath-taking solo glide down ‘La Combe de la Saulire’ a legendary ski run where fresh snow is sheltered year-round from strong winds, enabling an unspoiled descent down the mountainside.

Nama

Reservations are essential at what has become one of the region’s most lauded restaurants, where we celebrate elevated traditional Japanese cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Nama serves exquisite sashimi, sushi and signature dishes such as succulent Wagyu beef and Otoro tuna, as well as a range of warming ramen dishes. Every dish is imbued with a strong sense of its locale, focusing on the finest ingredients available.

The Bar, Library and Salon

Offering Courchevel’s largest sake and Japanese whiskey collection, as well as a range of exclusive house cocktails, the Bar is a convivial space in which to while away an evening with its plush-velvet stools, parquet floors and mesmerizing mountain views.
