Joali Resort is located on Muravandhu Island, Raa Atoll in northern Maldives. Guests have at their disposal 73 individual villas on the beach and above the water, elegantly decorated in a personalized theme. This chic hotel is perfect for a romantic vacation or for families with children. Guests can choose a villa on one of the best beaches in the world, or settle in a bungalow set above the water. Each of the luxury Joali villas has its own pool.
Location
The hotel is located in Raa Atoll, a 45-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. The hotel can also be reached by local airlines: 45 minutes flight to Ifuru Airport, and then another 25 minutes by speed boat.

About The Island

Hidden away in the northern reaches of the Maldives, JOALI is situated on Muravandhoo Island in the Raa Atoll, one of the largest and deepest in the world. “Atoll” comes from atholhu — a Dhivehi term used by early geographers to describe the region’s distinctive ring-shaped coral reefs, embedded in tranquil lagoons.
The Maldives is a unique place with a fragile ecosystem. From the tiniest sea creature to the tallest palm tree, each living thing plays a vital role in the replenishing experience created by these islands. Our resort was constructed keeping in mind the conservation of the natural environment as much as possible. Over a thousand trees were preserved, and they continue to share their abundant gifts with us each day.
