Family Li Imperial Cousine

Shanghai, China

A best selling novel in America once stated, “If you have 1000 things to do in your whole life, one of them would be to dine in the Family Li Restaurant.” Family Li Imperial Cuisine has officially opened to the public on June 27th 2006. There are 9 private rooms in Li Cuisine, with 8 Chinese-style rooms and 1 Western style room, together serving 86 guests. Reservations are requested to be made at least 24 hours in advance. Because each dish takes such a long time to prepare and to cook. Li Cuisine only serves set menus, two for lunch which include RMB 600/person and RMB800/person; 3 for dinner by now, including RMB 1000 / person, RMB 1500 / person and RMB 2000 / person.

Family Li Cuisine is proud of its inheritance of traditional cooking methods. All cooking materials are natural, no additive materials in the recipe, nor filling materials like soda, borax, artificial flavors of colors, monosodium glutamate or dehydrated stocks. Even in the kitchen, no modern appliances are used, such as microwave ovens or pressure cookers. These eventually guarantee good and healthy dishes of Family Li Cuisine.
