Capella Ubud, Bali offers twenty-two one-bedroom tents and one two-bedroom lodge, all with private salt water pools.

Location

Capella Ubud, Bali is located in dense rainforest on sloping terrain leading to the sacred Wos River in Keliki Village. Whilst accommodation on flat terrain is available, some of the tents are perched up high and are located on steep terrain. The safety and security of guests remains top priority, as such, the hotel politely advise that the camp would not be best suited for families with children below six years old and guests with mobility challenges due to the nature of the camp site’s terrain.

Bali’s International airport is Ngurah Rai International Airport which is located 1 hour and 45 minutes from Capella Ubud, Bali by car. Ubud centre is only 20 minutes’ drive from the camp.

Exclusive to guests staying at Capella Ubud, Bali, the Officers Tent is the camp’s lounge and library where morning coffee, afternoon tea and the daily evening cocktails are served. A wide range of books, international magazines and board games are available for guests throughout their stay.

Cocooned in the rainforest at the heart of the camp, Auriga is an oasis for guests to indulge in bespoke treatments and rejuvenate among nature. Spa experiences are drawn from Bali’s rich wellness tradition, with treatments using signature techniques and organic products exclusively blended for Capella Ubud, Bali.

Treatments can be taken in three luxurious spa tents or the privacy of your own tent. For guests seeking more active pursuits, Capella Ubud, Bali has The Armoury, a state-of-the-art gymnasium tent. Book a personal training session or join a Pilates, Yoga or Barre class. Adventure Wellness programming embraces the camp’s position in the rainforest for guided group activities such as boot camps, aerial yoga, mountain bike trails and jungle hikes.

Inspired by the spirit of discovery, Ubud restaurants add an unexpected twist to traditional flavours, influenced by the jungle setting and local heritage. Seasonal, sustainably-farmed ingredients are the priority at Mads Lange, while Api Jiwa cooks up intimate, authentic Asian barbecue food. Enjoy comforting camp snacks around Camp Fire, as you listen to live storytelling or a nostalgic film.

Mads Lange is camp’s split-level dining room named in honour of the famous Danish spice trader and peacemaker of Bali Mads Johansen Lange, nicknamed ‘The White King of Bali’. The focus is on seasonal and sustainable dishes created using locally-farmed ingredients and influenced by the historical spice trail.

Inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘fire to the soul’, chefs at Api Jiwa create exciting Asian barbecue food served in an intimate, lively atmosphere. Sit at the Robatayaki grill or at the private dining table for contemporary bites influenced by nose-to-tail cooking, created just for you.

Enjoy the mouthwatering medley of Izakaya Yum Cha Sunday brunch featuring a sumptuous range of homemade dumplings and charcoal-roasted skewers of meat and seafood, complemented by the refreshing sensation of Asian-inspired salads.

The poolside Mortar & Pestle Bar is at your service with light and refreshing snacks alongside a wide range of cocktails, a menu curated to reflect the harmony of Mother Nature’s ingredients and sounds, handcrafted using traditional methods.

The Camp Fire invites you to spend an evening under the stars, relaxing around the fire and listening to fascinating tales shared by a local storyteller over camp favourites such as hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows. Some nights the Camp Fire will host silent black and white movies depicting Bali during the 1800s, on other nights you will be serenaded by jungle orchestra.
