La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich is a majestic building, standing proud, serene, solid and calm like the wonderful days that have passed since it was built 110 years ago on the lakeshore. Times have changed and Philippe Starck has come to instill a breath of fresh artistry and a slightly rebellious touch. and. He has deconstructed the Eden au Lac the better to rebuild it, to enable it to be more truly itself for the future. The 40 rooms and suites, the restaurant and bar: everything has been redesigned to offer guests a refined and timeless experience.

Accomodation
The hotel offers 40 rooms and suites in eight categories, ranging from 27 sqm to 79 sqm. Located on the upper floors and overlooking the lake, the rooms were designed by Philippe Starck like onshore sailors’ cabins. Dream of the lake and regattas, adventures, light breezes and soft light from the terraces or private balconies. Various poetic surprises are sprinkled around, designed to pique guests’ curiosity and imagination as they continue their voyage and delicious daydreaming. These include nautical charts of the lake for experienced sailors and postcards of yachts for pleasure boaters on vacations.
Standard Courtyard Room
Like Zurich, a city of rigorous discipline and impressive performance, yet also a creative and cultural capital, these rooms designed by Philippe Starck express a rich duality brimming with fertile surprises and mind games: contrasts between wood and metal, between warm woolen rugs/carpets and airy white net curtains. These superior rooms offer no particular view.
Prestige Balcony Room
Facing south, these rooms have a private balcony from where you can see people strolling along the lakeside promenade, the green of the plane trees in summer, the white sails of the boats, the Alps in the distance... And why not take advantage of this magical view from the bed, judiciously placed in the center of the room.
2 Bedroom Eden Suite
Located on the third floor, this large two-bedroom suite faces south and the lake. The balconies with their elaborate railings invite you to contemplate the beauty of the landscape, as if from the railings of a boat. The refined décor of the living room and bedrooms is reminiscent of the luxurious cabin of an imaginary yacht bound for distant horizons. This two bedroom unit consists of a Deluxe City Room and an Eden Suite connected through a privatized foyer.

Relax with soothing thermal water and a calming atmosphere. 5 indoor pools, 3 outdoor pools and various sauna rooms as well as steam baths await you. The mineralised water bubbles up from the depths of the FORTYSEVEN Wellness Therme at 47° degrees. These minerals have a positive and balancing effect on the physical balance. Massages as well as other treatments can be booked in addition.

Fitness & Wellbeing
To complement your jogging on the shore of the lake or your vigorous swimming, the in-house fitness room offers you the latest gym equipment. In addition, thanks to our cooperation with the Fitnesspark Stadelhofen, you can experience over 200 m2 of classrooms, 680 m2 of fitness area, as well as 180 m2 of wellness area only within 5 minutes from the hotel. All facilities are free of charge for our hotel guests. In-House Fitness: daily open from 7 am until 10pm. The sauna area is always closed 15 minutes before closing time. Admission is only permitted for persons over the age of 15 and is at your own risk.

Grossmünster & Fraumünster
In the city, the Grossmünster church is easily recognizable with its two towers, one of which is accessible to visitors. The Fraumünster church opposite houses numerous treasures notably including stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall and Augusto Giacometti.
The Old Town
The old town remains the historic heart of Zurich, on either side of the Limmat River, with Bahnhofstrasse, one of the most beautiful shopping streets in Europe, along with Rennweg and Paradeplatz, where you can stock up on delicacies by Swiss chocolate-maker Sprüngli; Augustinergasse with its colorful old houses; or the Schipfe by the water.
Bürkliplatz market
The charming Bürkliplatz market is held on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Finally, Zurich West, the former industrial district, has been transformed and now harbors the city’s creative avantgarde in its warehouses and containers.

Lake Zurich
Lake Zurich, with its 40-kilometer stretch of the purest water in the world, offers something for everyone: cruises, sailing, water sports or simply swimming. A favorite challenge for Zurich’s residents, swimming across the lake is a feat for the most experienced, while others can opt for splashing around on one of the beaches or sunbathing at one of the region’s typical badis (bathing areas), such as Utoquai. Located just in front of the La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich, this is one of the most popular.

It takes only an hour to get to the heart of the Alps from Zurich. Skiing and hiking are among the favorite sports activities of the city’s residents, who are lucky enough to live in an unspoiled natural environment.

Eden Kitchen
1 michelin star & 16 gault-millau points. On the ground floor, with its large bay windows opening onto the outside, Eden Kitchen & Bar promises to be an essential meeting point in Zurich. Light plays on the natural leather sofas and tables, gently tinted by the multicolored stained-glass window created by the artist Ara Starck.
Light-colored floors, red wood and boat oars and hulls are just some of the design cues that create a warm and relaxed atmosphere and serve as reminders of the hotel’s attachment to the lake. The large open kitchen stages a non-stop show, in which everyone can admire the expert touch and creativity of the teams headed by Italian chef Marco Ortolani, veteran of prestigious restaurants in Italy and London, not to mention experience gained in Argentina and Hong Kong.

Eden’s cocktail menu is characterized by an elegant, minimalistic approach. Classic cocktails reimagined but still with a touch of modernism, served with in-house crafted components. Whether a classic or an innovative signature cocktail or a glass of rosé from the Château La Mascaronne estate in Provence — nowhere can the aperitif be enjoyed in more style than in our Eden Bar. Culinary delights are also provided.
Whether you’re looking to unwind after a busy day, celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy a drink, the Eden Bar is the " new place to be" in Zurich. The evening will be accompanied by our “Three Angels for La Réserve Zurich” at the DJ booth. Every evening from 6pm to 10pm. From electronic sets, upbeat feel-music to tech house, all styles can be enjoyed.

La Muña
15 gault-millau points. Perched on the sixth floor and accessible directly via the glass elevator in the lobby, La Muña overlooks the city from its tree-lined roof terrace. La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich’s second restaurant is a treasure chest, mingling imaginary memories of moments spent on the lake with extraordinary objects found in the city and around the world. La Muña offers a unique 360° view of the historic center, with the lake and the Alps in the distance.

Comfortably installed in these surroundings — designed by Philippe Starck — emulating the amber colors of the bottles, whether lost in your thoughts or enjoying your favorite program on the big screen, this moment is all yours.
