Burj Al Arab Dubai
Dubai, UAE
In its relatively short tenure on the Dubai coastline this legendary and symbolic hotel has attracted international attention and awe, ensuring its place as one of the most photographed structures in the world, and consistently voted the world’s most luxurious hotel. Designed to resemble a billowing sail, Burj Al Arab soars to a height of 321 meters, dominating the Dubai skyline. It’s higher than the Eifel Tower, and only 60 meters lower than Empire State Building. Illuminated at night by choreographed lighting representing water and fire — Burj Al Arab is simply individual, inspired, and impressive.
Location
Burj Al Arab is located on Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach strip, 15 km from the main city centre and 25 km from Dubai International Airport. It is Dubai’s most recognizable landmark and stands 280 meters offshore on a man-made island, linked to the mainland by a slender, gently curving causeway. Guests may arrive at Dubai’s most iconic hotel by either one of the world’s largest chauffeur-driven fleets of Rolls Royce’s or alternatively by a dedicated helicopter transfer service. Visitors who arrive by helicopter will experience a 15 minute birds-eye-view of the city, culminating in a dramatic landing on the hotel’s helipad on the 28th level.
