Mandarin Oriental Hotels Group

The Mandarin Oriental hotel group has been a leader in the luxury hospitality industry for nearly 60 years, consistently recognized by prestigious global awards. Its flagship hotel in Asia, which marked the beginning of its history, is the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong — the oldest and most revered in the city. The group's business has expanded from owning flagship hotels in Asia—Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, and Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok—to successfully managing a network of hotels worldwide. Currently, the group owns and operates 32 hotels across five continents, continually growing and strengthening its global presence.

Most of the group's hotels feature award-winning spa complexes. One of the earliest was the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, opened in 1993. In 2019, Forbes honored 13 Mandarin Oriental spa centers with the "Five Star Spa" award — an unprecedented achievement in the hospitality industry. The signature line of cosmetics was specially developed for Mandarin Oriental Hotels by the renowned British company Aromatherapy Associates in 2009. All products are free from parabens and made from natural ingredients, mixed exclusively for Mandarin Oriental by specialists.

The group's restaurants offer guests unforgettable culinary experiences. Their unique approach to service and innovative cuisine have repeatedly been recognized by Michelin guides. To date, the total Michelin star count has reached 27.

At the core of each hotel’s operations is a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Mandarin Oriental staff comprises over 12,000 employees representing 133 nationalities, all dedicated to making guests’ stays as comfortable as possible.

The iconic Mandarin Oriental fan logo was created in Hong Kong in the mid-1980s by the renowned design firm Pentagram. Today, it is registered as a trademark and is considered one of the most recognizable symbols in the tourism industry. Each hotel also features its own fan design reflecting its unique character; colors and patterns are carefully selected with input from local artists and historians.

The multi-million-dollar advertising campaign "He’s a fan / She’s a fan" aims to unite fans of the group’s hotels worldwide. It elegantly combines the brand symbol — a fan — with photographs of famous admirers who frequently stay at Mandarin Oriental hotels and are true fans themselves. The campaign plays on the double meaning of "fan" in English — both as a fan (the object) and a supporter (the person).

In appreciation of support from their celebrity guests, Mandarin Oriental makes donations to charities chosen by these stars. The group’s star-studded list includes 32 celebrities from various nationalities—artists, singers, actors, designers, writers, models, dancers, and entrepreneurs—who seek only the best in life.

The group also places great emphasis on environmental sustainability and responsible development. It adheres to principles of energy efficiency and works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. An annual report details their achievements in this area.

Evro Kontakt has been a Fan Club member since 2013.
